Over the past five years Echo has announced that their Microfiche Program will be discontinued as of 12/31/05. Many of you have already discontinued microfiche and have chosen to signup for Echo's Technical Web Site, or have subscribed to the electronic catalog option PartSmart. However, some of you may not be comfortable using the Internet or you may feel that PartSmart subscription costs are too high. Therefore Echo is pleased to announce a new low-cost, CD-ROM based information lookup system called E-PLUS.

The E-PLUS CD will be produced and managed by Echo's Product Service Department and mailed to you quarterly. Each quarterly mailing will be updated with the latest parts and service information including bulletins and service manuals. It will also contain the latest price files in ASCII text and Excel spreadsheet formats. All that is required to use E-PLUS is a personal computer using the popular Windows operating system and a CD disc reader. E-PLUS is accessed using free Acrobat Reader software, which will be included on the CD with instructions for installing it on your computer.

Should you choose to subscribe to the Echo E-PLUS program, please contact Golden Eagle's Inside Sales Department to place your order. The yearly subscription cost for the program is $40.00. A CD will be mailed to you each quarter on: 4/15, 7/15, 10/15, and 1/15 to take advantage of updated quarterly price information released in the prior month.

The E-PLUS program is optional and is not required if you are using the Echo Tech Web Site, or are a current subscriber to PartSmart. E-PLUS is simply intended to provide you with a low-cost, CD based information lookup system as an alternative to microfiche. We hope you find E-PLUS useful and will take advantage of the program.
